Please note, Packet Pickup will also be available at the start line on race day for those runners that cannot attend the Excel Chiropractic and Wellness Run Expo. If you must pickup your packet on race day, be sure to arrive at least 1 hour prior to race time to give yourself plenty of time to park, pickup your packet and get to the start line.
Race packets will not be mailed. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Starting Line: The Start Line will be located at Seacrest Field near Lincoln East High School (7198 A Street). Parking will be located in both the East and West Stadium lots. Please enter the parking areas from A Street. Runners arriving at the Start Line area may be dropped off at Seacrest Field or are welcome to leave vehicles for the entire day. You choose!
PACERS: Our goal is to help you reach yours! The Lexus of Lincoln pace team, will have pacers at the following times 1:35, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:05, 2:10, 2:15, 2:20, 2:25, 2:30, 2:35, 2:40, 2:45 and 2:50
Gear Check: Need to drop a layer before the gun goes off? We thought you might. Gear Check will be conveniently located near the start line up until race time. Your gear will be securely transported to the finish line where you can claim it by showing your race bib.
You’ll cross the finish line to the sound of thunderous cheers in the shadow of downtown Lincoln stadiums on Canopy Street. After collecting your medal (and breath!), stick around, cheer on other runners and join the party at the Railyard Finish Festival. Friends, family and adoring fans can park in any number of downtown Lincoln parking facilities, just a short walk from the finish line. Yay!
The Railyard Finish Festival: Who doesn’t enjoy a good party after running 13.1 miles? After all, you deserve to celebrate! Join us in The Railyard for music, hot & cold beverages, tasty food, massages and more! Stick around and cheer on your fellow runners!
Shuttles: You didn’t think we’d leave you stranded at the finish line did you (though, there are far worse places to get stuck!)? If you can’t get picked up by a friend, family or stranger, shuttle buses depart from the finish line area and will take Good Life Halfsy finishers back to Seacrest Field up until 1:30 PM. Just show the bus driver your race bib to show you are legit.

Tour the State Capitol: The capitol building is the perfect place to begin your tour of Lincoln and learn Nebraska’s story. The interior of this must-see-jewel tells Nebraska’s history through carvings, mosaics, paintings, sculpture, inscriptions and inlaid wood. It has been voted one the 10 most beautiful buildings in the world and a group of 100 architects can’t be wrong! Rock Out to Some Live Music: Visitors are often surprised to find such as thriving music scene in Nebraska. We think we are on the way to making the state a globally recognized music and cultural destination. Sound bold? The proof is in the pudding. Go for a Pre or Post Race Run in a Lincoln Park: With over 120 miles of trail and more parks per capita than any other U.S. city, it shouldn’t be hard to find a great place to sneak in a few extra miles before or after the Halfsy. Holmes Lake Park, Union Plaza, Antelope Park, Pioneers Park and Wilderness Park are a few of our favorites for Nebraska Marathon runners. Plan your own run at lincoln.ne.gov/city/parks.
In Nebraska, we like to know where our food comes from and we enjoy getting to know the person behind the counter or sitting at the table next to us.
